Change Address in Stark
In the case you are moving, and the mail address is changed, you can notify the USPS using two different ways:
Via online: Signing up at the USPS website and changing your home address to the new one. Please bear in mind that this will have a fee of $1.05 to prevent any identification fraud and to confirm your identity by your debit/credit card and your email address. By doing this, you will have your home address changed in the time period of 4 to 5 days. Please always use the official website as there are scammers trying to falsify the information and charging up to $40.
In person: If you prefer a more conventional way to proceed, you can visit one of the Post Offices in Stark and fill up the PS Form 3575, once you complete it, you can leave it to the postal officer or just drop it at the mailbox allocated inside the office. This process will also take about 4 to 5 days and after it is successfully completed, a confirmation letter will arrive at your home.
All address changes can be erased, stopped and changed as many times is necessary, all you have to do is to repeat the steps mentioned before and keep your confirmation number to speed up the process and avoid any possible ID fraud.
Please keep in mind that if you are moving, there are also other entities that should notify of the home address change, for example: The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Social Security Administration (SSA), and the State Election Offices, among others.
