Change Address in Guadalupe

If you are moving to a new address, it is very important to inform the USPS to update your data, to do it, you can use two different ways:

  • Via online: Signing up at the USPS website and changing your home address to the new one. Please bear in mind that this will have a fee of $1.05 to prevent any identification fraud and to confirm your identity by your debit/credit card and your email address. By doing this, you will have your home address changed in the time period of 4 to 5 days. Please always use the official website as there are scammers trying to falsify the information and charging up to $40.

  • Personally: If you like to do things more conventionally, you can visit one of the Post Offices in Guadalupe and fill up the PS Form 3575, once it is completed, you can leave it to the postal officer or just drop it at the office mailbox. This process will also take about 4 to 5 days and once it is successfully completed, a confirmation letter will arrive to your home.

All address changes can be erased, stopped and changed as many times is necessary, all you have to do is to repeat the steps mentioned before and keep your confirmation number to speed up the process and avoid any possible ID fraud.

There are also other entities that should be notified of any home address changing, like for example: The Social Security Administration (SSA), the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the State Election Offices, among others.

For more information, please visit the USPS official website.
