In the case an Individual is moving, and the mail address is changed, you can notify the USPS using two different ways:
Via online: Signing up at the USPS website and changing your home address to the new one. Please bear in mind that this will have a fee of $1.05 to prevent any identification fraud and to confirm your identity by your debit/credit card and your email address. By doing this, you will have your home address changed in the time period of 4 to 5 days. Please always use the official website as there are scammers trying to falsify the information and charging up to $40.
In person: If you like to do things more conventionally, you can visit one of the Post Offices in Sully and fill up the PS Form 3575, once you complete it, you can leave it to the postal officer at the counter, or just drop it at the mailbox allocated inside the office. This process will also take about 4 to 5 days and after it is successfully completed, a confirmation letter will arrive at your home.
If you need to change again, erase or stop your petition for a certain time, you can do it as many times you need, all you need to do is to repeat the steps mentioned before and keep your confirmation number which will be requested to speed up the process.
There are also other entities that should be notified of any home address changing, like for example: The Social Security Administration (SSA), the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the State Election Offices, among others.
