USPS Hold Mail
The USPS (United States Post Office) is improving the Hold Mail services.
Up to the day, there was a standard service that you could hire, where if you were not able to receive your mail/shippings at home for any reason, you could save it safely at your post office for some time (up to 30 days) until you are able to pick it up.
Right now, thanks to the latest technology and telematic advances, the USPS is developing a most secure way to identify, and manage your hold mail petitions.
To access the service, you have to create an account on our website, or sign up, and verify your identity before proceeding with a new request, once all steps are done and your identification is successful , you can submit a new Hold Mail petition.
This service is free in most of the States, and, in case there is a change of plans, it can be cancelled from one day to another Online or by visiting a post office personally ( please bear in mind that a confirmation number will be delivered to you and it is very important to keep it as it is the fastest way to cancel the service).
